# Moving example.com/wordpress/ to example.com/ ?

 * In pre-1.5 WordPress, I installed WordPress to the root of my website, lets say
   example.com, only to find that a WordPress permalink of “example.com/about-me/”
   would take precedence over an actual folder at that address. Thus, WordPress 
   would “usurp” any real subdirectory, even if WordPress had no page at that name.
   So, I installed WordPress instead to example.com/wordpress/ instead.
 * Now that 1.5 is out, I installed it to example.com/wordpress/, to find that it
   doesn’t usurp subdirectories any more – an excellent upgrade!
 * Now then, how do I move my wordpress installation from the subdirectory, example.
   com/wordpress/, to my main page, example.com/ ?

    Back up your database. Modify your blog settings to use 
   example.com instead of example.com/wordpress (hint: Blog Home and Site URI) Move
   your files from /path/to/wordpress to /path/to

 * Hello, I moved my site down to the root directory before updating the blog settings.
   IS there anyway I can do that after the fact?
