# Moving elements

 * Hi everyone
 * I’m new to WordPress.
 * I’m having trouble moving anything around on my homepage.

 * I’d like to move the logo up (temporary logo), the menu down a little, the slider
   up and the body up. I’d also like to change the footer so that if I add another
   widget, it goes to the right not underneath.
 * I’m also having no luck with editing the child theme, whatever changes I have
   seem to have no effect whatsoever. I like the idea of wordpress but because each
   theme is so different and edited
    differently, I don’t really see how anyone 
   can ever really use it. Sorry to moan, I’m just frustrated by the whole process.
 * I’d appreciate any help. Thanks.
