Moving blog from current host to new host

    I am planning to move my wordpress from old host to new hosting company but I failed even after I follow the steps in wordpress.org
    I can’t preview the domain before I take the final step and change the dns to the new hosting comapny

    Please let me know if you assist me and try to make it happn.

    Well yes. That’s generally true. Make your backups. Your new host should have given you directions on how to upload the files. Do that, then move the DNS over. Should work fine.

    But I can’t preview the files even after I upload the files and restore the database, I am afraid If I change the DNS then I will in trouble. Please let me know your opinion

    What do you mean ‘preview’? You mean see them in your browser?

    Thanks all, the hosting company today has fix the issue and I had to change different 2 location :1.siturl and 2.home.

    But how I can change the permenant url from backend, as I am not able to do that
