Moving Beta Site to Root and missing Images

  • I know that their are various discussions about this topic, but I really need someone to help me through this step by step. I’m still new to working with development. I had my wordpress website at the domain http://kevanchristinephotographer.com/beta. I wanted to move the site over to it’s root, which became http://kevanchristinephotographer.com. Everything else seems to be working fine but the images not displaying on the website. I’ve tried every idea thrown out by other forums in terms of changing URLS using save and replace and nothing seems to be working. The wp-content folder is on the root server, and I can open it and find all the uploads. When you go to this link you can even see the image coming up. I need help with figuring out why this site isn’t connecting to the wp-content folder.

As a note I am also using headway and I didn’t know if this would fact in this situation as well.

    Thank you.

  • Looks like everything is sorted?

Also, the alpha/beta section you posted to isn’t for your betas per se

It is for testing versions of WP – you are using 3.4.2, which is the current version. Posts in this section would currently be about WP 3.5 (which is in beta stage)
