 * Hello WordPress community,
 * Can a mod confirm this before I try it?
 * A clients site is going live from _mydomain.com/newsite_ to _anotherdomain.com_
   within my Media Temple hosting service.
 * I was reading through the following article: [http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress](http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress)
 * Just realised that in point 2.
 * > Go back to your OLD blog and go to Administration > Settings > General and 
   > change the url (both of them) to that of your new site.
 * Could you not just go into PHPMyAdmin and change these 2 urls within the exported
   database, that way you wouldn’t need to effect the old site at all…
    wp_options
   > id1 siteurl wp_options > id37 home
 * The result is the same _keeping both sites intact_ but without the extra hassle
   of having to restore your old blog…
