• I’ve been asked to move a massive Blog hosted on Blogger, to WordPress. I’ve never worked with WordPress before. Is there a tool available to do this, or some kind of import/export option in Blogger or WordPress, or will I have to copy/paste posts from Blogger to its new destination.

There are almost 400 posts. Each post has not less than 10 images, and lots and lots of comments. Does anyone know an easy way to do this. Some way by which I can get text, images, comments and all else to WordPress all in one go. Thanks

  • I just moved my blog over to WP.org, but I moved it from WP.com, not Blogger. However, I’m pretty sure it’s a similar process.

Under Tools there is an export button and you save that file on your computer, and then import it into WP.org. In WP.org it’s also under Tools (and then import). It gives you the option to just transfer comments, posts, etc…or All Content. It will take a little while to upload a large quantity of info from the original blog, but it’s a pretty simple process. And the comments and all should easily transfer over. Hope that helps!
