I recently changed web hosts, which involved moving 2 blogs. The first I had an export file for the database so just did a fresh install and imported those files fine. The second however got forgotten about because I hardly use it.

It was on a subdomain and I manually copied every single file I had on my server and also did a backup through my web hosts for speed.

While I’ve managed to get this second wordpress blog installed ok, no pages or posts were to be found once it was up and running. I basically copied over all the files from inside the subdomain which was just the blog installation and associated graphics files.

Can anyone tell me the folder these things should be stored in so I can look for them? I’ve seen references to the table wp_posts which is fine, but not where the data itself is stored.

I was about to just import most of my posts from my old Blogger blog, but all I get is:
    “Trouble signing in
We were not able to gain access to your account. Try starting over.” when I try authorising the import.

So can someone offer me some good news before I start the manual copy & paste job?

    Donna
