Moved installation from http://www.thomasrost.no/blog to root for the new year, and realized just after that this made Jetpack start counting from scratch. Same domain, same server. Is it possible to merge? Perhaps a pro-option or something?
Since you have changed your site URL, a new site ID was created for that new site, and your old Stats remain associated to the old site ID.
I have made some changes to your account to invert this process. Coud you go to the jetpack menu, and disconnect / reconnect to WordPress.com? Once you have done so, your old Stats should be back under your account.

@Barry I have reverted the change. Could you try to disconnect / reconnect to WordPress.com once again? Your Stats should be back once the connection is reset.
I would also recommend that you update to the latest version of Jetpack; you seem to be running an old version of the plugin on your site.
That has reset me back to my previous stats.
But I've lost yesterdays (I can live with that)
I'm deliberately on a old JetPack, as I've not had the chance to update and update my child jetpack plugin to ensure compatibility.
I have now merged the stats that were recorded yesterday and the day before yesterday on the wrong Blog ID.
You should be able to avoid issues like these in the future, if you do not copy the
jetpack_options row when copying your site's database over to your backup site. I hope this helps.
How do you expect people to maintain dev/test/staging sites then?
I would recommend that you avoid copying this row to your test site, or just replace the Blog ID by your test site ID (47582000) when copying the database, much like you do when changing the siteurl and home values in the *_options table.
Jeremy, I need the same to be done in a clients'site. It was lagartavirapupa.com.br/blog and now it is only lagartavirapupa.com.br/
And another problem: subscribers also disappeared! More than 500, very important, of course!

Jeremy, so weird... last week, all fine. Yesterday, tho, they all disappeared again! How can I fix it or at least save the list of subscribers?

I am going to need to have this done when I change domains on my website soon too.
As so many people need to do this wouldn't it be easier to allow people somehow to merge them themselves?

can you do this for my site. i moved site from beta.esfiya.com to http://www.esfiya.com

I changed domain names, had a few problems and was advised by bluehost tech to deactivate then reactivate plugins, when i did that with jetpack i lost stats, reverting back to zero. Also now when I try and look at stats I get this message

If you have just installed the WordPress.com Stats plugin, this error probably appeared because the API key entered in the plugin belongs to a different WordPress.com user account.
The owner of the API key must visit this site's stats page to grant access.
