Moved WP folder – no media !?

HI there,

I had a WP install in a folder and moved it out to the main domain.

from mysite.com/sandbox/ to mysite.com

I logged in, changed the urls then downloaded all the files and moved them to the new folder. I made sure the htaccess file was looking right. but now when I log in ay mysite.com and go to the media library, all i see are the names for each image i uploaded. no image.

I used Velvet Blues Update URLs, which seems to have worked – in that when i go and look at the database there are no instances of mysite/sandbox except in the guid.

but still, the media library has nothing physically there. the items are listed. but no files… what’s gone wrong !?
