• I moved the content of brockangelo.com to angeloarchive.com to operate as a personal website for family. I then deleted personal posts from brockangelo.com and kept just the posts relating to computers and tech on brockangelo.com. I want my 404 page to just *suggest* where the post will be at angeloarchive.com since I’m using the same permalink structure. Here’s an example:

    A user goes to
    http://www.brockangelo.com/2007/05/09/jon-is-home/
    and gets a 404

I don’t want it to automatically redirect. I just want to it to suggest the new site by displaying a link on the 404 to:

    http://angeloarchive.com/2007/05/09/jon-is-home/

I read this post in the codex, but it is talking about redirecting ALL posts via htaccess.

So I think I would pull the slug from the current page to display in the link. If this is on the Codex somewhere, or if there is a link to another post, I can do my homework – I just haven’t been able to locate any of it.
