Moved live, now want to go back to local version

  • Hi, I successfully made my first theme locally using Wamp, then moved the it to the live server. Alls well. But now I want to improve the local one again but can’t log in, the links go to my live version.

Do people scrap the local one after it’s gone live and export back and configue locally again or can I make improvements to the local site and move stuff across? At the very least, how can I reconfigue the local one again?

    Thanks, Martin

If you just want to work on a theme, scrap the current local install, re-install and just download the theme from the live site. you can use the Theme_Unit_Test to populate the local install with content.

Ok, thanks, so it’s not possible to log back into the one on my computer using Wamp anymore?
