I originally had this installed into http://www.blah.com/wp-test
after getting everything done, i wanted, I moved ALL the files up to my WWW root. keeping the directory structure intact. I then went into mysql and changed the site url to http://www.blah.com (NO trailing slash)
I am now no longer able to login, after entering the correct passwd I am returned to the login page. Additionally, the link on the login screen that takes you back to the blog is still showing the old path to the blog : http://www.blah.com/wp-test/index.php
Yes, I have gone and double-checked (triple, even) mysql, yes I have cleared my cookies, doesnt matter what browser, ie, ff, and netscape all see the same url, and ns never even had a cookie set.
scratch this post, and make a note to self that there are 2 places in mysql that need to be changed in the event you do what i did.. very nice blogging package btw 🙂
