[Resolved] Moved blog to subdomain, now uploaded media doesn’t work

  • I recently moved my wordpress install to a subdomain. And it’s working fine, I can post, etc.

Or at least I thought so. I tried to upload an image today and found that it uploaded the file, but couldn’t display it.

The website is at blog.gideonaddington.com and it’ll show that, even though the subdomain is referencing gideonaddington.com/blog.

WordPress is uploading into gideonaddington.com/wp-content/uploads/… instead of gideonaddington.com/blog/wp-content/upload/…

    Any help?

  • keep ur old images in the original location (without the sub folder).

for new images – edit your thingymajing – image folder in settings->miscellaneous so that includes the subfolder something like blog/uploads.

then should be ok for old and new images.

Ah, didn’t know there was a setting for that. It had turned a bit wonky somehow. I fixed it and it works great now, thanks!
