[Resolved] Move title and admin options to title

  • First up great theme, lots of options to make it work really well for almost any web site.

One issue however is the placement of the Site Title and Site Description. I have moved it to the Header area in place of logo image (if no logo image is uploaded and used), plus as a fall back for search indexing.

What I next need to do is move the Site Title and Site Description options to the Header instead of the top bar, so that way I can choose to use or not use the Site Name and Site Description in the header.

Any idea how I do this please and can I do this in the child theme only and not edit the main template files?

    Cheers

    GW

I can’t really think of any way of doing that. Frontier incorporates Options Framework for the options page but the Framework doesn’t provide any filters (for your particular goal) that can be used on a child theme. Also, if you just copied the entire code that produces the site and description from the top bar div onto the header div then the options should still work regardless of where they are grouped on the Options Page.

Hmm you are right, to do what I need done would require editing the main core files. Like I said just an idea :).

    Cheers
