move the wordpress site to another hosting, it lost faq data

    Dear John Gardner,

    I tried to move the wordpress site to another hosting using the wordpress export and import function (due to some reasons unable to use MySQL database migration). After the migration, I found no data and setting available for your FAQ plugin. Would you please let us know where to get your data and setting for your FAQ plugin so that I can migrate the data to the new hosting easily?

    Hi,

    Sorry, I didn’t realize another thread had been opened. Per my answer here, there’s nothing unique about my plugin that would require any special settings or data to migrate. When you export the content you can choose to export all content or just FAQ’s and when you import, as long as my FAQ plugin is active, WordPress will import the FAQ content (along with anything else you’re importing) and it will be visible.
