• Hi.

    I have a network which consists in site.com, a.site.com and b.site.com.

I would like it to be site.com, site.com/a and site.com/b.

Any idea how I could achieve this ?

  • It isn’t possible to convert subdomains to subfolder-based sites. Alternatively… you can have a second install of WordPress with subfolder-based sites. Keep in mind… subfolder-based sites will emit a /blog/ subfolder.
If you have 2 installs of WordPress… please provide me these URLs; so I can take a look. I’ll spot the difference between subdomains, and subfolders. You may need to experiment between these sites.

    Hi,
What do you mean by “not possible”? I thought it would be possible by modifiying some stuff like config files, htaccess or directly database.

As you setup your multisite… you have to choose either subdomains or directories. You can’t do both at the same time. Alternatively… you can use a multinetwork plugin,–if available. Please provide me your URls to your site,–so I can understand easier.

I don’t want to have both subdomains and subdirectories, maybe I explained badly.

    I want to have site.com/a and site.com/b instead of a.site.com and b.site.com 🙂

Here’s one of the subdomain sites: http://es.studentsmobility.com/

I need to “remove” this url and add studentsmobility.com/spain as the only url for this site.
