Dear Caroline Moore and others,
Thank you Caroline for the neat spun-template! I’m helping out friends: http://www.akwalaboka.com but I’m stuck.
Sidebars-1,-2 and 3 are hidden en centred in the index-page. I want to make those side-bars visible on the right-side of the main / index-page.
I would appreciate your advise a lot!
Just go to your Dashboard menu, click on Appearance>Menus and make sure you include those pages you’d like to display on top underneath your header_menu.
You should have all pages display there to be able to not only include them on your site as regular pages but also as drop down menus if you wish.
I appreciate your quick response. The links only appear on the right-top side of the header (at least, in this template). What I am trying, is to get the sidebars on the right side of the screen. There, I can drag widgets (with html links) into it.
I think the solution is somewhere in de style.css file. There, I can move the sidebars, but not on the right-side of the main-index page.
@la Soupe de Son, Don’t do that please.
@la Soupe de Son – you need to start your own thread and include a link to your site if you need help.
You can move the sidebar to the right via the suggestions in this thread: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/theme-spun-put-side-bar-visible-on-the-left-or-right-of-home-1
I’ve succeeded to a degree in establishing a right hand sidebar on my landing page using some examples I found here on the forum – much thanks to all who generously contribute their time to help us css weaklings 😉 … however I would like to show the sidebar on the posts and pages and am struggling with that ..
my site is http://www.aquariumdecor.com
thanks much in advance for any insights .. .. it is quite a shock transitioning from weaver II pro to spun …
