    Add this to your custom CSS editor:

    .archive .entry-header, .blog .entry-header, .search-results .entry-header {
      bottom: 0;
    }

    Give this a try and let me know how it goes:

    .archive .entry-header, .blog .entry-header, .search-results .entry-header {
      top: 0;
      position: absolute;
    }

    Hi Kathryn, I see that Linda has not responded to let you know if this worked so I thought I’d let you know that when I tried this fix the title appears on the top of the image on both the thumbnail featured images on the home page and also on the actual post page. And on the home page you can no longer click on the image to go to the post, you must click on the title.

    As Linda asked I would also be interested in showing the title somewhere other than at the top of the image on the post page. Sometimes I’ll use a photo of a person’s face and the text will cover their eyes. I’d prefer to move the title down to the bottom or middle. And on the home page keeping the text on the bottom of the thumbnail featured image is fine.

    Any ideas on how to get what Linda and I are asking for? Thanks!

    videosc – thanks for letting me know the results of trying this CSS. Could you provide a link to your site so I can take a look directly?
