In WordPress, Whenever you are uploading the media it will create an entry in the database corresponding to that media. In Wp File Manager, You can copy or move the media from one directory to another directory, but it will not create an entry in the database.
So whenever you move media files to a new directory they break. Moreover, In Wp File Manager there is an option through which you can upload the media, and it will also make an entry in the database. To enable this option you have to navigate to Wp File manager -> Preference and check the “Enable Files Upload to Media Library?” option. Click on the “Save Changes” button to save the preference settings.
To fix the breaking issue firstly download the media and again upload that media to another directory. After uploading the media file you have to change the path manually where you are using media files.
