Move imagebrowser navigation arrows
-
I have the latest version of WP and NextGen Gallery with the Genesis theme. Since the change over to photocrati the forum articles addressing the change in imagebrowser navigation no longer apply as the files are different.
I simply need to relocate the navigation arrows for the imagebrowser styled gallery from below the photo to above.
Here’s an example how they are currently setup below.

Any thoughts here? Thank you.
@absolutdahl – This is typically done with custom CSS and / or a custom ImageBrowser template.

Thanks for the reply Cais. I’m aware that custom CSS is required, just seeing if anyone here can help with that.
@absolutdahl – It may be simpler to just create a new custom template for the ImageBrowser …
.. and though we really do not offer support for creating custom templates, here is a gist you may be able to work from: https://gist.github.com/Cais/11147483

Thanks for the update. Where do I upload custom template files? I see various documentation but it states different opinions. Thank you.
@absolutdahl – There are currently two different locations you can use (please only use one of them):
/wp-content/themes/[yourtheme]/nggallery/
or
/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/ngglegacy/view/
– Cais.
Thanks so much! It’s working!!!
Thanks for the template. I’m trying to use this template but removing the text “next” and “previous” from the navigation. If I remove it from the template, it’s still visible on the site. Why? I move the navigation back under the photo, fyi.
@hig116 – Please see your own topic for a recommendation on how to move forward on this.
Thanks!

Thanks. Looks like a cache issue for me. Problem solved. Great plugin.
@hig116 – Thanks 🙂
