    Hello,

I would like to move the customer from my Woocomerce store to the autoresponder. But I can’t find the option to move the customers based on the product purchased (when the order changes status to complete). I need to separate the customers so I cannot use the order complete action in Automator.

E.g. customers can buy only one product at a time on my WooCommerce sore and when an order with product A is marked as complete the customer needs to be moved to List A in my autoresponder when an order with product B is marked as complete the customer must be moved to list B in an autoresponder. I tried several options in Automator, but I was not able to achieve the desired functionality.

Is there anything I am missing or you do not support the functionality I described?

    Best regards,
    Rene

    Hello Rene,

    Thank you for reaching out.

I hope I understand your query, but do you think using the “WooCommerce product purchase completed” trigger will work for you?
You can select what product you’d like to filter out for that particular Automation. Then you can just add the user to the Autoresponder list.

I have created a short video tutorial for you on this matter:

Also, for the 2nd product and the 2nd list, you will need to create another Automation with the same structure, but just change out the WooCommerce product and the Autoresponder list.

I hope this helps, but let us know if you have any other questions.

    Best regards,
    Mario

    Hello Mario,

Thank you for your fast response and sorry for my late answer 🙂

I tried what you suggested before I raised this ticket and the action is not working for me. The automation is activated, but when I change the status of the order to Completed and save it, the automation is not executed and the user is not added to my autoresponder (MailerLite)- also in log, there is nothing. See the images below:

I did not try to disable all plugins and change to the Twenty theme yet.

But with all my plugins (not so many) and with the theme Generate Press, this action is not working.

    Best regards,
    Rene

    Hi Rene,

Thanks for getting back to us.

I checked your screenshots and confirmed that they are configured correctly.

I tried the same set-up on my test environment, and you can see from the screencast below that the automation is working for me.

    Please see this screencast: https://share.getcloudapp.com/YEuDm5LA

The issue might be caused by a plugin/theme conflict.

Could you try doing the steps below to further isolate the issue?
    – Ensure that the Thrive Automator plugin is updated to its latest version
    – Ensure that the WooCommerce plugin is updated to its latest version
    – Temporarily disable your plugins one-by-one, except for Thrive Automator and WooCommerce
    – Temporarily switch your GeneratePress theme to a WordPress default theme (e.g., Twenty Twenty-One)

Please let me know how you get on. Thank you, and have a nice day!

    Best regards,
    Jona

    Hi Jona,

Thank you for your reply and test on your test system.

I tried everything you suggested but the automation still does not work. I will continue the conversation on https://thrivethemes.com/support/ because I am also your Suite customer. That way it will be easier to share the required data with you.

    Best regards,
    Rene
