    Dear support

In order to reduce the plugin number in one site, we want to export the CPTs generated by your plugin and use it as a plugin as Code Snippets plugin. The problem is when we do that, the ‘view’ link disappears from each post on the admin side and we are already unable to access the original URL of each post (when we access the URL of each post, we are redirected to the home).

Even though we see the CPT on the admin side, the posts are not accessible on the front side. Worth mention we got the code from the ‘Get Code’ tab, disabled the cache plugin, and rewrote the permanent links several times but we get the same results.

    Please see these screenshots

Do you know what the solution could be?
    Looking forward to your comments.
    Best regards

Not sure what may be going on there, because the “Get Code” stuff should all be pretty seamless and recreating all the same settings you have for the post types.

Are you doing anything with roles/capabilities on the site? Is it possible that you have the same post types registered elsewhere, specifically a 3rd time between the CPTUI version and the “Get code” version that may be getting used, and capabilities/settings different with that one?

    Hi Michael
    Thanks for replying so fast.

FYI, I copied all the code from CPT UI and put it on the Code Snippets plugin, and then deactivated all plugins except Code Snippets but unfortunately, I get the same results.

The production site is a little big (>13 Gb) so, I’ll try to make a staging site to make more testing.

I’ll let you know if I have some insight.
    Best regards

Curious how it’d fair in your theme’s functions.php file or a quick mu-plugins folder file.

    Hi Michael

I think I was able to solve it. Reading other topics with similar issues, you suggested re-saving the CPTs without do any changes. So, I did that and it worked! Now, the code is valid and I can use it in other locations.

    Thanks for your support.
    Have a nice day.

Interesting. However whatever works works in these cases.

Let us know if you need anything else.
