Movable Type to WordPress

    Hello:

    I am new to WordPress.

    I have a MovableType Blog. It has about 300 entries and is seaach engine optimized.

    I would like to preserve the permalinks so that when people click on the old links in the engines they are taken to the right page without breaking the links.

    I have no problem with having the MovableType Blog stay as it is, and starting the WordPress Blog from Today, however, I would like the WordPress Blog’s main page to be where the MovableType main page is.

    Example:

    http://www.BlogViewsByRoz.com

    Is there an easy way to do this?
