    Hello,

I have the problem that I can’t scroll in the time field with the mouse wheel. I can’t scroll down at all. To the top it jumps directly to the beginning. Until recently, however, the scrolling went. I suspect the problem occurred with one of the last updates.

Even mobile scrolling on the mobile phone does not work, too!

    Greeting Sascha

    Hello,

when is there likely to be a fix. The problems with the scroll wheel are quite annoying!

    Greetings Sascha

    Hi @smgwebdesign

    Hello,

thanks for the update, but unfortunately it doesn’t fix the bug with me. With the wheel the time selection jumps now only completely up or completely down. Scrolling is still not possible in Chrome and Edge.

In Firefox scrolling is not even possible and in IE the plugin is not even displayed correctly!

You can see it here: https://smgweb.de/weingut/

It would be great if you could solve the problem as soon as possible.

    Thank you Greetings Sascha

Hi @smgwebdesign thank you for reporting.
It will take a while before I release an official update again, but you can try the latest beta version available on the github page of the plugin:

    https://github.com/carmoreira/date-time-picker-field
I haven’t fully tested it yet, so try at your own risk.

I now got it working on Firefox and Chrome. Couldn’t test IE (not officially supported) or Edge yet.

    Hello,

I tested it on a test installation once. Now the scrolling works as desired. It also works correctly in Chrome, Firefox and Edge now. Only not in IE, but you shouldn’t use it today anyway!

    Greetings Sascha

I thought the scrolling is broken but just realized that you force the inverted scrolling direction. This is not user friendly. Even Apple made it a cool thing to scroll the opposide direction, you should let the user choose according to their settings on the device.

Anyways: If you scroll while you’re hovering the calendar, it always goes back in time, independent of the scroll direction. Noticed this in Chrome.

Hi @smgwebdesign thank you for the feedback. You can use that version in production then, if it works well for you.

@chrisbergr thank you for the feedback! The original jquery.datetimepicker script the plugin uses is forcing that scroll direction, so it’s a bit more tricky to solve it on my side, but I’ll see what I can do. I don’t think it will be able to check the user’s settings on the device, it will always force one direction or the other.

About the month scrolling issue, it will be solved in the next update, the version on github I mentioned on the earlier comments should already have this fixed if you want to try it.

    Greetings, Carlos

My temporary fix to reverse the timebox scroll direction (in the github version):

    1. edit assets\js\vendor\datetimepicker\jquery.datetimepicker.full.js
    2. change the minus sign to plus sign in: (line 898) top = top – (event.originalEvent.deltaY * 1);
    3. minify the file
    4. save the file as jquery.datetimepicker.full.min.js

@carlosmoreirapt, please let us know when you fix this in your plugin. Thanks!

@bigneno @chrisbergr @smgwebdesign latest update has some scroll related fixes, included the ones already on github and scroll direction change. Please confirm it works as expected. Cheers
