I need to be able to move the box in the screen to another position because it cannot be read. Or if possible, to deactivate the Mouse-Over Box. Two problems: (1) Because of the background color of the box (it seems transparent) the footnote is an overlay over the main text and (2) the footnote is shown in the main text. After moving the cursor over the footnote number, then the footnote text rearranges itself and is shown correctly. The first problem is evident when I’m using FireFox and Chrome (Windows 8.1). The second problem is when using FireFox * So, I ended with your initial fix. My blog has a right-side widget area, and when the footnote is near the right side of the body text, the box appears partially‘ under’ anything in that widget area, making it hard to read. * Maybe it could pop-up to the left instead of right when it is some percentage from the right edge?
