Mouse cursor reset of textarea in tinyMCE HTML mode

  • I recently updated my web site after using 2… for awhile and have encountered a vexing problem that I couldn’t find in this forum. I find it convenient to use the HTML mode when creating a longer POST. The problem is that the visual part of the tinyMCE textarea is constantly being reset to the beginning of the textarea.

This happens whever I use the enter key or when I want TO cut and paste text from another editor. In fact all you need to do is move the mouse cursor out of the text area to do something else on the POST page then when you move it back into the textarea then the textarea view is reset to the beginning.

The keyboard cursor usually remains at the correct position but sometimes not and this problem makes writing a POST very time consuming and frustrating.

My question is has anyone else encountered this problem and do you happen to have a hack that can correct this problem?
