First, it loses permalinks on staging duplication. So every reset of staging and you have to fix those. Yup, Pro version too.

Second, it duplicates all of your database tables gumming up your database.

Third, it CONSTANTLY logs you out. I mean like you can do 5 actions and it’s logged you back out again.

Fourth, it adds a weird second scrolling bar like you’ve got frames on your site. It doesn’t do it when logged out, only to admins trying to do work. Which is really annoying.

Makes you really appreciate how great it is when hosting provides staging.

@anphira there is a setting: “Keep permalinks”. Activate it and when you update or create a new staging site, the permalinks will not change.

No, the pro version can clone to an external database. Only the free version duplicates the database tables. How do you want to create a clone without duplicating the tables? If you have another suggestion please let me know.

This means there is something wrong with your staging site. Do you use a security plugin or a plugin that changes the URl of your login page?

Feel free to contact me and I am checking out your site to see how this can be fixed on your site: https://wp-staging.com/support/

I am pretty sure this is not coming from WP STAGING and another plugin interferes here.

Get in contact with me and I am helping you to fix your issues.

    Cheers
