Most recent post doesn’t display on homepage

Before publishing a blog post, the status section used to have an option that says something like “Publish/show on front page.” But now, that option is gone. It only says “Pending review.”

Now, I can’t see my most recent blog post in my home page. It shows in recent posts, but not on the home page.

I’m so frustrated by it.
