    Hi,

I’ve lost important part of my images somehow. I’ve only cpanel backup (due to some php errors in backup plugins) and now I cannot upload backup properly. Any idea why some of my images dissapared?

I’ve checked the files from cpanel, they are there but not available in Media section.

I’ve been using the plugin since one month and it was all good. I was having around 500 images in 6 folders now I have 185 images.

If I deactivate the plugin will I be able to get back my images properly? Then I can reinstall the plugin and arrange the folders.

Website lost pictures(example): (the image windows appears)

    Please help and advice
    Thanks in advance

Really sorry to hear that, but our plugin doesn’t have a line of code that can delete files. We only help you virtually show your media library based on the folders you create, but we don’t change anything in the files themselves.

I suggest you try to deactivate the plugin and see if that helps (or check the files in list mode instead of thumbnail mode). Sometimes multi-language plugins cause these kinds of issues, I’d also try to deactivate your multi-language plugin (if you have one).

You can also contact me personally at gal@premio.io and I’ll try to take a look and see if I noticed anything weird.

Were you able to resolve this issue? I just had a very similar problem with my site. Many of my images were deleted from the library when I installed the plug in, but still appearing on the front end (cached, I suppose?). When I deactivated the plug in, the lost images were not re-added but many of my images were duplicated.

Appreciate any update on if you were able to solve this!

Hi, Unfortunately no, I need to re-install my page from old localhost backup and do missing issues by one by, but the Premio team was tried to help a lot. It was not possible to understand root cause of the isse, I suspect about Jetpack plugin and it’s image optimization feature but not sure. I’m not using any plugin about images and image optimization anymore.
