[Resolved] More tag problem after installing Yoast wordpress seo

  • I’ve been using a more tag on every post so a snippet will show with a read more link on the homepage. After installing WordPress SEO by Yoast, each post snippet now shows the full article on the homepage. My site is getmckinney.com using the Genesis framework by StudioPress. What do I do to bring back the homepage formatting I had before installation?

    Thanks,
    Rick

  • Hey guys,

This might have occurred due to Genesis update 2.0.1. I’ll keep you posted.

P.S. Gotta have my “more tags!” 🙂

As per the Forum Welcome, please post your own topic.

It was solved by a developer for the Genesis framework. Are you using Genesis? If, so – they should be working.

I installed Yoast SEO and did a Genesis update on the same day, so I reached out to the Genesis people who were able to fix it, even though it took almost a month.

It appears Yoast was never the problem.
