Support » Plugin: Featured Image from URL (FIFU) » more smartness needed

  • Resolved John Conner

It seems that the plugin search for any src=”…” to take the address as a featured image from a post content, but in many cases that is not the actual image address, and mostly image urls contains description codes for size or other things, need to be cleaned. I think it would be better to define image MIME Types (e.g. *.jpg) as a base to find a real url and then take a purged image url into action.
Also there seems an issue in definition of default featured image when the url is internal, as the plugin rewrites the url with some erroneous repetitive parts.
