‘more’ quicktag results in empty link in post

  • I’m working on a new install of 2.0.6. When I add the ‘more’ quicktag into a post, the ‘Read more’ link appears correctly beneath the first part of each post (on the homepage), but when viewing the full post, there’s a link (with the post id but no anchor text) appearing within the text where the quicktag was introduced.

I presume this is not supposed to happen. Is it my setup or does version 2.0.6 do this for some reason?

  • Actually, it is supposed to happen 🙂
Normally, unless you modified something, that should be the point where your browser “jumps” after clicking the ‘more’ link.

Point taken. Thanks. I noticed it on this site because it creates a larger space between paragraphs. I’ll need to fix that.
