"More" link not displaying when the extra content is images

    When WordPress automatically generates a post excerpt, there appears to be a slight glitch regarding whether it displays the “More” link or not. It seems to only display the “More” link (or ellipsis depending on the theme), if there is more text in the post, NOT if there are more images.

    For example, see this blog: http://www.bethlikes.com Note the “Animal Antics” post on the home page. There is no “More” link. But when you click through to the post, you’ll see there was actually more content, but it is images, not text.

    How can this be fixed so that WordPress treats images as content when deciding whether to display an ellipsis or “More” link?
