more-link doesn't work

I am using the retro-fitted theme and out of the box, the more link doesn’t work. It puts a [...] in the right place, but it is not clickable. I’m not trying to customize anything, just to get the basic functionality to work. The site is password protected so I can’t give a direct link, but it looks like this:

I’ve looked around and can’t seem to find how to make this go to the right page. Any help would be appreciated!
