Ok. I’m having a few more issues with diacritics.
On this page, the words ʼalūp̄, hōp̄əʻāl, qal, řōʼš ʼāḇōṯ, šēḇeṭ, and Yəhōwāh all have entries, but only hōp̄əʻāl, qal, and Yəhōwāh work. My guess is that the others aren’t working because the words begin with diacritics.

    I still haven’t figured out how to get the navigation on the glossary to work right. You can see here, if you click the letters at the top, it doesn’t work. Also, I’m using a custom alphabet (ʻ ʼ A B Ḇ C D Ḏ E F G Ḡ H Ḥ I J K Ḵ L M N O P P̄ Q R Ř S Ś Š Ṣ T Ṭ Ṯ U V W X Y Z), but it isn’t putting it in that order. Words beginning with ʼ are displayed at the bottom, but I’d prefer them at the top.

A quick question and/or feature suggestion: being able to style words in different dictionaries differently would be of use to me. Is there any way to do this currently? If not, can this feature be added?

Interesting discovery: in the navigation of the glossary, it is counting Ř as R + ˇ which is causing it to not work properly. Additionally, it seems to not work with capital letters…

    Example: http://pathofancients.org/learn/glossary/?explanatory-dictionary-letter=y works, http://pathofancients.org/learn/glossary/?explanatory-dictionary-letter=Y doesn’t.

    http://pathofancients.org/learn/glossary/?explanatory-dictionary-letter=s works, http://pathofancients.org/learn/glossary/?explanatory-dictionary-letter=s%CC%8C doesn’t.

And now, for some reason, I can’t change the alphabet in the settings to be lower case.

    Hello,

I’ve added a new option to the 3rd settings tab called ‘Heavier search’. This option allows you to show more tooltips on words with quotes and other diacritics.
However! this also means that some words will have pop-ups that you might not want for instance:
    A term called: Dog
will be highlighted in the following word: doggies

But perhaps this is not an issue for you and might help you on your way.
This isn’t final and I hope to find a better solution but for now this is all I can give you 🙁

The glossary works with bot capital and non-capital letters in the URL.

The reason why words starting with Ř are found with R is because the way the database works. I’ll have a look at that in the future but for now I suggest only using the normal ‘R’.

And you can’t change the letters of the alphabet to lowercase (yet) unless you overwrite it in your own CSS files.

As for your question about styling words per dictionary different in you first post. This isn’t possible at this time, I can’t make any promises how if and when.

Next version should be out soon

    Everything works great!

Only one real issue: the shortcode doesn’t work in the glossary page. It works just in the pop-up tooltip (but it works there brilliantly).

Ha, I totally missed that one, I’ll have that fixed in the next version as well. Sorry for any inconveniences caused.
