Are you using anything like Akismet to reduce the amount of spam comments you are getting?
No, I don’t. I’ve looked into it but I think this site would qualify as a business and we do very little blogging so we can’t really justify the additional cost of an Askimet subscription at this time.
Even if I did have Askimet, I’d still want other categories for archiving comments. Spam was just the first need that came to mind.

I moderate all my comments and lately I’ve been getting a lot of spam. I put it in the spam category. I also have some comments that are not spam but I don’t want to approve them — and I don’t want to trash them either. For now, they stay in the “pending” category. The problem with this is that when I go through to approve new comments or process new spam, I keep revisiting comments that I’ve already seen.
I wish there was a category (in the links at the top of the “comments” section of admin) to “archive” comments that don’t fit any of the other categories but that I don’t want to keep seeing in the “pending” category.
