# More Cannot Modify Header errors

 * Good afternoon everyone.
 * I have scoured the forum and troubleshooter guide on this site, but though it
   seems to be a common error message, I am not getting it resolved.
    My blog is
   up and fine, only when I try to log in, I get the following error message on 
   my screen above my login box:
 * Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started
   at /home/erikb2/public_html/weblog/wp-config.php:1) in /home/erikb2/public_html/
   weblog/wp-login.php on line 11
 * When I then try to log in anyway, I get more of the same:
 * Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started
   at /home/erikb2/public_html/weblog/wp-config.php:1) in /home/erikb2/public_html/
   weblog/wp-login.php on line 10
 * Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started
   at /home/erikb2/public_html/weblog/wp-config.php:1) in /home/erikb2/public_html/
   weblog/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 369
 * Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started
   at /home/erikb2/public_html/weblog/wp-config.php:1) in /home/erikb2/public_html/
   weblog/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 370
 * Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started

 * I hacve learned from the FAQ that this likely points to blank space after the?
   > somewhere, but on line 1? I don’t see any blank space, line 1 just says <?php
   with no spaces in front.
 * Would anyone have an idea or suggestions? What I found so far does not really
   seem to help.
 * My thanks in advance.

 * there is a line break or spaces in your wp-config.php before the opening `<?php`

 * Edit wp-config.php.
 * At the top of the file remove any spaces or lines _before _the initial `<?php`.
 * At the bottom of the file remove any spaces or lines _after _the final `?>`.

 * Thanks guys. I had removed the spaces but the error kept coming up. So I downloaded
   the whole thing again, removed the spaces, and uploaded to my site. It seems 
   to finally be working now.
