Hi @hoh_dk,
Does this problem persist when Complianz is deactivated, and only MonsterInsights is active? Because we have just tested with only MonsterInsights active, and this exact issue occurred.
Our current understanding is that this might be related to the Google account that is linked to MonsterInsights, and that it might attempt to place the other Analytics code as well.
Kind regards,
Jarno

Actually, it does not persist with Complianz deactivated. The big difference with Complianz deactivated is that the UA scripts are not divided so much. Meaning the first UA script is on line 90 and the second on line 100.
With Complianz activated the second script is on line 700, so I guess it makes it count the UA tag twice resulting in a low bounce rate, etc.
Hi @hoh_dk,
We will have to look closer into MonsterInsights and our integration, to find out what exactly causes this.
I hope to be able to provide more information soon.
Kind regards,
Jarno
Hi @hoh_dk,

Could you try this one? Please deactivate the former version before installing, settings will remain.

Hi Aert,
I have installed the new version, and the bounce rate immediately goes up. So I guess it works. 😉 Is this a future update, and will I have to go back to the “old” plugin again?
Thanks.
Hi @hoh_dk,
Glad to hear that worked. This fix will be included in the next update, so these changes will remain after updating.
I’ll mark this as resolved for now, let us know if we can assist further.
Kind regards,
Jarno
