Support » Themes and Templates » Monotone theme– problem with margin around image…

  • Hey there,

The answer to this one is probably something embarrassingly simple. I’ve installed Monotone, but whenever I post an something, the coloured area leaves a margin around my image. I really liked the fact that the template “shrank to fit” the image in each post, and it’s driving me nuts. What have I missed?

    Thanks,

    Jacob.//

  • We need to be able to see what you are describing as well as have access to the CSS stylesheet via your Web site or at least the theme’s demo/download site.

I think I got jsamlarose’s point – Monotone doesn’t “shrink” to the width of your image, it’s just got two widths: 540 px and 720 px. If your image is one of those widths, it will display without margins, otherwise it will display with.
You should try to tweak the settings in /wp-admin/options-media.php of your blog so you can display your images in one of these two widths.
