Mondify Theme To show Child Categories

Hello,

I’m attempting to modify my theme so that only my top level menu shows initially, then child categories show as a drop down once clicking/hovering parent categories.

My site is

http://www.bristolbeatsclub.com/

My top level menu should be home-news-podcasts-bristol gigs-about-subscribe-contact

Then, on clicking/hovering on the parent cateogy podcasts, the child categories ‘bristol bands’ and ‘bands on tour’ should show.

At present, child categories show no matter what.

I’m not great at coding so any help you can offer would be appreciated.
