I think that normally the featured image for a post is used as the og:image for a Twitter card (correct me if I’m wrong), but it seems that in this case Molongui has replaced it with the author image. Is there a way to undo this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Molongui Authorship adds the og:image tag on author pages. It shouldn’t add nor change that tag on any other page.

Need to look into this, but, just thinking out loud, might it be that the code responsible to add that tag on that page is just taking the url of the first image on the post? I’ve seen that before. What happens if you configure our plugin to place the author box below post content (this way, post image would be displayed first in the page)? Does the tag still have the author picture value? If it doesn’t, then it is not on us.

Hi @molongui, it appears that the error is indeed on our side. The featured image is not actually being displayed on the page. The user image is the first image that is encountered, so it makes it into the og:image tag.

Thank you for the quick reply!
