# Module: Not Duplicating

 * Noticed tonight when “duplicating” a course, the course & lessons duplicate correctly;
   however, the module does not.
 * It appears to be reassigning to the duplicate and leaving the original course.

 * We got this question in the past, and the answer is sadly that you cannot duplicate
   modules – you will need to re-create them upon duplicating lessons.
 * We had an [open feature request](https://github.com/Automattic/sensei/issues/1626)
   about that, and I have added your +1 on this. If you have more comments to add
   to this, feel free to contribute in GitHub 🙂
