# Modsecurity do you need it?

 * Just wanted to get some comments about Modsecurity on the server end for WordPress
   users.
 * I am experiencing problems on a shared server where I am now having to switch
   Modsecurity on and off for updates and changes to pages. This has only happened
   recently and it is annoying. What are other people’s experiences with this.

 * I have NinjaFirewall and BulletProof Security culling bad traffic and protecting
   my site from malicious intrusion. I had one situation such as yours where something
   would not work because of a certain firewall rule, and the Support Staff at NinjaFirewall
   quickly helped me resolve that.
