Support » Plugin: nrelate Related Content » modifying the page info in the rss feed

  • Hello,

I am right now looking into your very promising plugin, thank you for making it available. I would like to use your plugin for justdharma, com. The posts are quotes from various authors, an image of the author is attached dynamically to the posts based on the category (which is the author name)

    I have two question:

    • Is it possible to modify the title information nRelated is displaying. Basically I would have to add a category information to the title. (the author name)
    • Is it possible to explicit tell nRelated which image to use on a post by post basis. I need this because the images in my posts are not attached to the post but dynamically added to the post.

While I could live without images it is essential for me to be able to add the author’s name to the title. Ideal would be to have a hook which enables the user to modify the nRelated feed.

    Thank you very much

@dorjeduck — Thanks for using nRelate on your site. Right now there’s no way to modify the title information just for our plugin if that’s not how the title appears in your own feed (which we use to index your site content). Sorry about this.

There’s also no way to explicitly tell the plugin which image to use on a post by post basis, you can only set custom image paths to let the plugin know where to pull images from for all posts.

Sorry about this. Let us know if we can help with anything else.
