I am new to WordPress ProPhoto. So there may be a very simple solution to this; I’ll try and describe it the best I can. My site is http://www.hannahkerriganphoto.com

Right now, my home page is the first thing you see when you go to my site. I have it so my most recent blog posts are listed first.

To actually view the actual blog post, you have to click on the link. However, while remaining on the home page and without clicking on the link, the viewer may view a “preview” of the post. Essentially, they are viewing the entire post without clicking on the link, having to scroll for several minutes through past blog posts to reach the bottom of the site.

I am trying to find a way to have just one photo displayed on the home page, and perhaps a short excerpt of the blog post. So, in order to read and view the post in its entirety, the viewer has to click on the link. And so my home page isn’t saturated with an endless stream of images.

    Thanks so much in advance.
