Modifying the default text rich editor

  • Sometimes things get crazy (text font and sizes change) when copying text into a post. I need the ability to reformat the font and font size. The Editmonkey plugin does this but won’t work on my website. I tried another plugin in but it eliminates the upload function. Is there a way to simply modify the existing text editor to include font and font size editting?
    Thanks, Garrett

  • Copy it into a plain text editor like Notepad first, then from that into the text area. The rich text editor is buggy and when you give it formatted text, it eats it.

Good suggestion. I’ll do that until I can get an editor with more format options to work.

You know, you have maximum control over the formatting when you edit the HTML directly 🙂
