Modifying specific archive pages

  • Hey guys. This is my archives page:
    http://vistarewired.com/category/windows-vista/

I want to change it so that I can place my own page here instead of having it in automated chronological order. But I also want to keep the same permalink.
This is the main thing I want to get done.

It would be even better if each time I uploaded an article, it automatically made itself into the archive folders in alphabetical order =)

    Read this: http://codex.wordpress.org/Category_Templates

The gist of it is that you will make a new file for your theme. It will be named category-X.php, where “X” is the ID number of your “Windows Vista” category.

If you need more help, just ask. But please do read the documentation before asking. So many people don’t. 🙂
