# modifying single.php using a child theme

 * hello,
    I have searched about this for a long time but cant seem to find an answer…
   I have tried copying the single.php to the child theme folder n then make the
   changes but it doesn’t work, in the sense the that the modifications work but
   i am getting errors like (Warning: include(topAd.php) [function.include]: failed
   to open stream: No such file or directory in….) n its all over the page !!!… 
   Can someone tell me the correct way to modify next_post_link() in the single.
   php using a child theme ??? plz help …..

 * It very much depends upon the parent theme. Where did you download the parent
   theme from?

 * I’m sorry but as you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from
   the theme’s vendors.
