[Resolved] modifying single.php using a child theme

    hello,
    I have searched about this for a long time but cant seem to find an answer…
    I have tried copying the single.php to the child theme folder n then make the changes but it doesn’t work, in the sense the that the modifications work but i am getting errors like (Warning: include(topAd.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in….) n its all over the page !!!…
    Can someone tell me the correct way to modify next_post_link() in the single.php using a child theme ??? plz help …..

    It very much depends upon the parent theme. Where did you download the parent theme from?

    The parent theme is Socrates theme….

    I’m sorry but as you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s vendors.
