Modifying Options-Discussion.php

  • I’m writing a plugin that is going to require user input for options. I’m curious, is it “bad” to want to place the options under the options-discussion.php admin page?

    Do you recommend I place it in just options? I feel that Discussions options page would work best, because its 100% to do with the discussion element of a blog.

    If in fact I could put it under options-discussion, what is the proper syntax/parameters for the addition of my options, i.e.:

    if (function_exists('add_submenu_page'))
    add_submenu_page('plugins.php', __('New Plugin Options'), __('New Plugin Options'), 1, __FILE__, 'bo_subpanel');

    The above code would add ‘New Plugin Options’ to the sub-level navigation menu of plugins.

    Any assistance appreciated.
